2 Unwritten Rules for a Night Out at a Casino

Sometimes a night out starts – or ends – with a few hands of blackjack at a local casino. And that’s all right, really – aside from coming with the chance of leaving with your pockets full (or empty, of course), gambling is a ton of fun. Casinos have a variety of exciting games you can try, and a unique atmosphere that is unrepeatable – it must have something to do with the décor, the surroundings, and the thrill of taking risks without, you know, real risk-taking. There are, in turn, a few things you need to know before heading to the nearest gambling establishment in the neighborhood to start your evening right.

Know the games

While the majority of casino games are created to be easy to learn, some of them come with a handful of tricks that can be very useful when playing. Besides, some of them have rules you should know before diving right in. When your plan is to play a few hands at a casino, you might want to get some practice before. And the best place to do that is the All Jackpots Casino.

Thousands of people from all over the world play casino games at All Jackpots, an online gaming venue with a long history. The All Jackpots has all games you might encounter at a real life casino and a few that you will almost certainly not. It offers real money games to its players but you can also try its games “for fun”, with no money involved. This makes the All Jackpots the perfect place to learn to play risk-free before heading out to give the “real thing” a try.

Dress codes and basic etiquette

Although casinos are far less rigid when it comes to their patrons’ outfit than they were in the past, they are still a bit picky when it comes to their visitors’ outfits. If “black tie” was the general dress code for a night at the games in the past, today business casual and casual will do just fine. Depending on the venue you plan to visit, the “right” outfit for the night can range from a jacket, a tie and Oxford shoes to a t-shirt or polo shirt, denim (not ripped!) and sneakers. Just make sure to leave your Bermudas, tank tops, and slippers at home.

Aside from the dress code, you’ll want to observe some basic etiquette for a night out gaming – a few of these unwritten rules apply not only to casinos but any other entertainment venue:

  • Leave your selfie sticks at home (or in the checking room)
  • Turn off your phone (or at least to silent>
  • Don’t drink too much!
  • Never play drunk!
  • Tip your dealer (especially if you win)
  • Keep your rage to yourself (it’s OK to cheer when you win)
