And the Best Place in the World for Guys to Live is… NYC
Thinking about pulling up stakes and looking for a new place to call home?
After nearly a year of pouring over stats like weather, cost of living, culinary scene, professional opportunities and availability of single, educated women, the guys over at AskMen.com have finally come up with their list of the Top 29 Best Cities for Men.
And coming in at Number 1 is my hometown, a very much revived New York City. With world-class restaurants, top-ranked sports teams, high-paying job opps, and a couple million women, it’s not hard to see why it’s the top place for guys to live.
Rounding out the top 3 are Melbourne, Australia and Tokyo, Japan. But the real surprise comes in at number 19: Beirut. Added for its “vibrant culture, nonstop parties and entrepreneurial innovation,” the once war-torn city in Lebanon has been rebuilt and now boasts a ton of pubs and nightlife districts.
How many US cities made the cut? Six. Besides having NYC as number 1, Miami hit at 7, San Francisco at 10, LA at 12, Chicago at 24 and Las Vegas just made the list at the 29th and last position.
So if you’re looking for a place to relocate, or even a hot locale for your next vacation, head over to AskMen.com and do some map surfing. And go somewhere better than the usual drive down to the lake for the weekend.
