If you've ever kicked a soccer ball, or ever seen someone else kick a soccer ball, chances are that ball was kicked by an
adidas Samba. With over 35 million pairs sold worldwide since it was introduced in 1950, the shoe has become an icon in the soccer world. And in the pop culture world, with athletes and celebs rocking the classic kicks on field and on stage.
But since soccer is only slightly more popular here than Cricket, and still less popular than the national spelling bee, adidas is bringing the iconic Samba to the links.
On March 1st, they'll be releasing the Samba Golf, with the same

Everyone drinks beer in the shower, right? Of course. It's the best way to save time by pre-gaming while you get read to go out. But the biggest problem with a shower beer is keeping soap and suds out of your suds.
Thank god for the guys at
ShaKoozie. Their revolutionary shower beer caddy not only keeps your can of brew out of harm's way and within easy reach, but the space-age insulation material keeps it chill in the hot humid conditions of your shower.
And installation is an easy, no-tools-required job. Just stick the Launch Pad to the tile, slide a can of your favorite beer into the ShaKoozie and let the magic of velcro do its thing. You can rip, sip and re-stick all shower long.

Guinness is looking to set a Guinness World Record. And you get to be a part of it. The best part is, you don't have to risk life and limb with some crazy stunt, eat a bunch of live crickets, or balance anything heavy on your head. You don't really need to have any special talents at all.
That's because Guinness is attempting to set the record for The Largest St. Patrick's Day Celebration ever. So becoming a part of legend is as easy as celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a pint. (And you planned on doing that anyway, so you might as well make it historic.)
Here's all you need to do: Head over to
Guinness.com and click on "Join the Party." You'll get a pledge form where you promise to toast St. Patrick's Day with a pint of Guinness. (Beer Fact: About 13,000,000 pints of Guinness are consumed around the world on that day.)
All they need is your first name, your zip code and an optional referral code. That code is
BACH. (That way they know I sent you, since I promised Guinness I'd help them get partiers to pledge.)
Then have a

During the Big Game, Budweiser gave their Clydesdales the night off (finally), and ran a spot that shows the true reason we all play sports: For the love of a crowd of raving, adoring fans.
If you didn't catch this one, Bud took a twist on the (hopefully dead) Flash Mob craze and invaded a rec league hockey game in Ontario with a crowd of "fans" dressed in team jerseys, guys with face paint, and some hot cheerleaders. And, of course, a chicken shooting t-shirts into the stands.

For a bunch of guys used to playing to a smattering of people just trying to get out of the cold, this is as big time as it'll ever get, and they rise to the occasion. No word on if any of the hired cheerleaders are now rec league WAGs.
