Where you can show off your grill skills.
Sack'em Shrimp Expert's note: When grilling shrimp skewers, a double skewer is your best bet for an even, easy cook. By inserting two skewers into each shrimp - one on each side, width-wise - each piece will stay in place rather than rotating. For smaller shrimp, use a grill basket to cook. Remove shrimp from skewers or basket before placing in paper sack.
Ingredients:
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined with tails on (26-30 shrimp)
1/2 cup KC Masterpiece® Original Barbecue Sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon parsley flakes
2 teaspoons lemon pepper
2 teaspoons paprika2 teaspoons onion powder
1. Rinse shrimp and place in a gallon size GLAD® bag. Add barbecue sauce and marinate, refrigerated, for one hour. In a brown paper lunch sack, combine lemon pepper, parsley flakes, paprika, onion powder, and chili powder. (Note: Do not use a recycled bags in this recipe)
2. Remove shrimp from marinade and discard marinade. Grill shrimp 3 minutes. Flip and grill another 1-2 minutes. Remove shrimp from skewers and place the hot shrimp into paper sack and toss to coat for seasoning. Eat like popcorn out of the bag.
*Prep time takes 15 minutes plus 1 hour to marinate the shrimp.
Kick'n Corn Expert's note: Hot sauce can be made up to 4 days in advance and kept refrigerated. To use, simply warm the sauce before brushing it on the corn.
Hot Sauce:
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped plum tomato
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into chunks
1/2 tablespoon cayenne
1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing
1. Peel the husk back from the corn and remove the silk. Do not remove the husk. Set aside.
2. Combine the ingredients for the sauce in a blender and puree until smooth. In a medium saucepan, bring the sauce to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Turn off heat and whisk in butter chunks until melted.
3. Brush corn with the sauce and wrap tightly in the husks. Grill for 10-12 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes to prevent the husk from burning. When cooked, peel back the husk and serve with Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Salad Dressing for dipping.
Broadcast Burgers Expert's note: These burgers are big and full of flavor, but can also be prepared with a milder flavor. Instead of 2 pounds of lean ground beef, use a mixture of 1 pound of ground beef and 1 pound of ground pork.
Topping:
1/3 cup finely diced red bell pepper
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon jalapeno jelly
11/2 teaspoons finely minced jalapeno pepper
Heat oil in a medium saucepan until hot. Add the diced onions and cook over medium heat until translucent, about 3-5 minutes. Let cool. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine ground beef, seasoning mix, parsley, and potato chip crumbs. Add cooked onions and mix well. Form into 6 patties.
For topping, mix together jalapeno jelly, sour cream, diced red pepper, and minced jalapeno. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Grill patties over charcoal briquettes 4-6 minutes per side or until meat is no longer pink in the center. Top with about 2 tablespoons of topping.

The bottle was designed by John Alexander and is the most intricate glass bottle ever created by the manufacturer. And Dan Aykroyd, calling it "liquid joy", is its most vocal promoter.
But none of that matters. You'll get it because the crystal skull-shaped bottle will be the most bad ass thing on your bar.

It's the new iPhone app from Zippo that turns your phone into a virtual lighter. Pick your lighter style, then flip open the cover, and flick the wheel to "light" it, just like on an actual Zippo. Turn the iPhone and the flame follows. A flick of your wrist snaps the cover shut.
Again, not useful for anything, except maybe satisfying pyros' urges without buildings burning to the ground. Here's their video that shows what the app can do.

Not exactly the best scenarios, considering the odds of him giving up, or the cops stopping him, without damaging your car are slim. It'd be great if there was a way to remotely slow the car so 5-0 could nail him without a 100-mph, red light-blowing, chase through city streets. OnStar thought so too.
They just announced their Stolen Vehicle Slowdown service for OnStar subscribers, as an added feature to its Stolen Vehicle Assistance, which uses GPS to locate stolen cars. I got a chance to try it out last month in Dallas, and it's pretty impressive. Here's how it works: Your car gets stolen. You call the police and tell them you have OnStar Stolen Vehicle Slowdown. They contact OnStar and ask them to locate the car. OnStar uses GPS to find the car and remotely flash the front and rear lights, making it easier for cops to get a visual on it. Nothing inside the car alerts the thief that anything is happening. And only the police are notified of the car's location.
Once the cops have eyeballs on the car, and feel conditions are safe, they can request that OnStar slow it down. A remote signal gets sent to the engine, limiting the fuel and bringing the car down to idle speed, no matter how hard he floors the pedal. (All the other systems stay active, like power brakes and power steering, so the car stays in control.)
During my demo, I tried everything to get the car to go above a crawl, but no dice. Even the most donut-laden officer could catch have caught me on foot. A great way to keep your ride in your driveway, but without high speed chases what are Los Angelinos going watch on TV?
Head over to OnStar.com to see the video demo and to get more info.]]>http://www.thebachelorguy.com/stolen-vehicle-slowdown-the-end-of-high-speed-chases.html/2008-10-09T17:22:26Z2008-10-09T10:22:26-07:00BGWho doesn't love a little sud-covered shower shag? There's something about the flowing water, the soap bubbles on her body, the smell of her herbal body wash, (the countless porn you've watched that makes shower sex seem so hot), that gets your "shower rod" into action mode.
But the shower was designed for a singular purpose, and two wet adults performing a vertical tango, wasn't it. It's way too cramped. It's covered in a slick surface, that gets slicker when wet. There's nothing to hold on to. Nothing to cushion a fall. And nothing kills the mood faster than a broken tailbone.
Now fans of shower action - or action anywhere a little extra traction is necessary - can get a better grip with the Shower Power. Made for "bathroom bangin'", this plastic suction handle gives you something to hold on to when engaging in some shower-based relations. Equally handy in the kitchen, car, or on your desk when giving dictation.

Firefly's Nathan Fillion stars alongside adult-film staple Aria Giovanni in the first episode, "Nailing Your Wife", a completely SFW vid about a sexy wife who gets nailed by her carpenter. Keep both hands on the keyboard. It's PG. Additional episodes are the only thing coming.
They'll be appearing on Spike.com and you can head over to www.pgporn.tv for more vids and interviews.

You know the deal, your buddy's got a great new song, video or embarrassing photo of his ex on his iPod that you want to grab. But transferring files from iPod to iPod is a pain in the ass. And requires a computer. Which may not be handy when you're in a bar or at a party.
MiShare takes all the hassle and need for a computer out of the equation. It's a pocket-sized, single button device that does one thing: allow you to connect two iPods and share files back and forth.
Just dock each iPod onto the sides of the miShare (the arrows tell you where to dock the source and where to dock the destination), slide the switch to Music, Video or Photo, and push the button. The last song or video played will transfer, or the photo folder you defined. You can also have it transfer an entire playlist. Easy enough that I'm pretty sure my dad could do it.
Works with any iPod that has the 30-pin dock connector (which means you're out of luck Shuffle owners), formatted for either Mac or Windows, and can even transfer between mixed formats.
