Bored With Your Life? Buy This Guy's
06/20/2008

Ever take a look at your life - your house, your stuff, your job, your friends - and think, "I wanna dump all this shit and start over" only to suck it up, and get back to the grind? Well, Ian Usher had the same thought. Only he's got the balls to go through with it.

Bored with his life, newly divorced with reminders of his ex in everything he owns, and looking for a fresh start, the 44 year-old Usher decided to do what most of us do when we're sick of something - he's putting it up for auction on eBay. So if you're looking for a new life, make a bid on his. It's already broken in.

The seven day auction begins on Sunday, June 22 with a starting bid of $1. The winner gets it all - his $400,000 house in Australia, his car, motorcycle, brand new jet ski, all his adventure gear, the new flat screen, the beer in the fridge, everything. Even his friends, who will take the winner out drinking. Which is more than your current friends probably do. And his boss will give the new owner of Usher's life a tryout at his sales job. (All this and you get to be a salesman too!)

At the end of the auction, Ian will hand whoever wins the keys to everything and walk away with only his passport, wallet and the clothes on his back. Then he'll head to Sydney and get on the next plane headed anywhere, to start all over. Hopefully with some money in his pocket.

How much money? He's looking to get at least $475,000-$500,000 for everything. And anyone is eligible to bid, including corporations, or some rich guy with money to burn, looking to create publicity from all this. (Think Marc Ecko and Barry Bonds' homerun ball.) And what if the winning bid is below the value of all his stuff? Usher should be ok. Because in addition to selling the contents of his life at auction, Usher has already sold the movie rights to his life to a major Hollywood studio.

If you're thinking about bidding and want to see exactly what you'd get if you won, go to Usher's site, www.alife4sale.com.

To place your bid to become the proud new owner of Ian Usher's life, the eBay auction is here.
