
OK, so I'm at the big Mazda presentation for the hydrogen hybrid RX-8 last week, and they brought a couple of the engineers who designed and built it, over from Japan to talk to us about it.
Not being comfortable with English, they had teleprompters set up for them by the stage. Which was great for me for two reasons: 1- When I missed something they said, I could take notes directly off the 'prompter, and 2- I could see the instructions the speakers were given when it was time to click over to the next slide.
Which allowed me to fully understand where their accent comes from...
