No question the Bloody Mary is a great Sunday cocktail. But this Sunday you'll want something with a little more punch. Like a Bloody Hun.

It's made with Zwack, a Hungarian spirit with an intense herbal flavor, and a name that sounds better suited on lip gloss for 12-year-olds.

Known as Unicum in Hungary since 1790, it's made with over 40 herbs and is aged in oak casks for at least six months before bottling, giving it a dark amber color and a taste that's hard to describe. But throw it in with some bloody mary mix, and you've got a perfect game day cocktail.

Bloody Hun
1.5 oz Zwack
3 oz bloody mary mix
1 stalk celery
1 pinch pepper
1 pinch salt

Fill a tall glass with ice. Combine Zwack with bloody mary mix, salt and pepper to taste, and stir well with celery stalk.

Merlot has had a bad rap since Paul Giamatti declared in the movie Sideways: "If anyone orders Merlot, I'm leaving. I am NOT drinking any fucking Merlot!"

It was seen as a wine no guy should be caught drinking. A soft, light wine with no balls. Well here's a fucking Merlot that's got enough full-bodied fruit and depth that it'll change your mind.

It's from O'Brien Estates, a small, award-winning winery in Napa that hand harvests its grapes and ages it in small batches in French oak barrels.

Here are the bullet points:
- Made using traditional, artisanal winemaking techniques.
- The flavors are not artificially adjusted in any way.
- Dark ruby color.
- The nose has ...More

Well it was bound to happen. With all the herb-infused, fruit-infused and spice-infused vodkas out there, experimentation with what little ingredients remained was bound to lead us to this: Bacon Flavored Vodka.

I can guarantee you bacon vodka is a staple in Guy Heaven. Served right alongside the hot wings and chili cheese dogs that give you six-pack abs.

If you want to make some of your own - and you know you do - try this simple recipe from McAuliflower over at Brownie Points. She suggests using it in Bloody Mary's or in a Cloudy Martini with a blue cheese stuffed olive. I'm thinking it also makes an unbelievable marinade for steaks. All you need is a few strips of bacon, some vodka, and a little patience. Welcome to Guy Heaven.

If you think of port wines as overly expensive, and picture old guys sitting in stuffy club rooms, sipping port and mumbling about financial markets, think again. Many excellent ports can be had for under $40. They also pack a lot of complex flavors, and a powerful alcohol punch, into each bottle. (Most table wines are 11%-14% alcohol by volume, ports average about 20%.)

A true guy's drink, this fortified wine was the product of war. A series of wars with France in the mid-17th Century sent both Dutch and British merchants looking for alternative sources for wine. The British bought large quantities of wines from the Douro Valley in Portugal in large boats that could handle the rough seas. They added brandy to stabilize the wines for shipment back to England. And port wines were born.

Dow's has been making port since 1798 and their 20 Years Old Tawny Port is a top tawny. Here are some bullet points:
- It's made in the Douro Valley in northern Portugal, making it a true Port.
- It's aged twenty years in seasoned ...More
