What could be your newest web addiction launched earlier this month. So think carefully, check your schedule, and make sure nothing important is due before reading on.

Chickipedia.com is a huge (almost 6,000 photos), and growing, user generated resource for everything you ever wanted to know about your favorite female celebs, athletes, models, singers, newscasters... any woman who has ever been in the public eye.

And I mean EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know. In to addition photos, videos and the usual bio and info like date of birth, hometown, and hobbies, you can also find her measurements, who she's hooked up with, her vices, any noteworthy buzz, and who she's worked with.

If you happen to have the 411 on some info that's not on her page, or a fave femme doesn't have a page yet, feel free to add it. Along with any pics you may have. Just make sure they're not of that cute red head from the gym. Chickipedia is for women we all know. Not your personal crush you're looking to impress by building her a profile.

Checking out a model's page and like her particular chest size, waist size, age, height, or overall measurements? One click gets you a list of all the other chicks on the site who fit that criteria, so you can discover new women to worship. It's a stalker's wet dream. And an easy way to unwittingly kill a couple of otherwise productive hours.

On July 12 2005, Kyle MacDonald had the seemingly insane idea to trade a single red paperclip for a house. He documented the entire endeavor on his blog, OneRedPaperClip, and one year to the day, 14 trades, and a ton of media attention later, Kyle was handed the keys to a house in Kipling, Saskatchewan. He also got a mention in the Guinness Book of World Records for Most Successful Internet Trade. And a book deal from Random House. With Dreamworks optioning the movie rights. (Who's insane now?)

MacDonald's success has spawned a legion of other 'net-leveraging hopefuls, dreaming up their own schemes, and documenting their exploits on blogs and websites in an attempt to secure their 15 minutes of fame. And possibly fortune.

Here are eight other dreamers attempting to harness the power of the 'net to give them a shot at immortality. Some have already made an impact. Some are still pushing. Some might never make it. Me? I'm going to try to trade a thumbtack for a date with Rhona Mitra. Stay tuned for the video.

The Super Bowl is reverting back to its glory days this year. No, not because there's a chance Bret Favre will be playing, but because Victoria Secret announced they will be returning to the Big Game's commercial line-up for the first time since 1999.

With fond memories of the Lingerie Bowl (come on, you watched it too), and an appreciation for these hard-working, nearly-nude models, it brought to mind some of the other great libido arousing moments in Super Bowl commercial history. Here are 5 of our favorites in chronological order. (And a bonus clip.)

Why do we love action films? Let me count the ways... There's the overblown heroes. The over-the-top bad guys. The cheesy and physics defying fight scenes. The beautiful damsel who has gotten herself into some predicament or another. (With the always present chance she'll drop her top at some point.) And of course, the explosions.

You can leave out any of the above, but they'd have a tough time putting our butts in the seats without some huge structure, aircraft, or series of enemy vehicles, blowing to pieces in red-flamed glory.

And the brainiacs over at Discovery Channel know this. So they created an entire show that revolves around blowing shit up.

Smash Lab, premiering tonight at 10pm, features a team of maverick engineers who take everyday technology and apply it in revolutionary new ways. (Basically they can blow shit up in the name of science.) For example, could bullet-proof Kevlar protect an airliner from bombs, or could truck dampers be used to earthquake proof a house? Who knows? So they figure, let's pack a boat load of TNT in there, or ram it with a bus, and see if it survives. Exactly how I solve all my problems.

You can see a preview of the carnage here.
