It doesn't matter what type of music you're into, there is usually at least one Michael Jackson song that you know and love. (Or get stuck in your head and can't get out.)
But now, thanks to the magic of computer gaming technology, you can learn how to dance like the King of Pop with the
Michael Jackson: The Experience.
The game features many of his iconic songs like Bad, Thriller, Smooth Criminal, and Beat It and is available for the Wii, PS3 and for the Kinect for the XBOX 360. I gave the game a spin on the Wii, and as soon as I started moonwalking to Billie Jean, I knew this was the perfect party game. Whether you have dance skills or are stuck with the White Man Overbite, you'll enjoy playing this game. For the Wii version you can play up to four players (think invites for females, so you can show off your newly acquired moves), and compete by scoring the most points by completing each move correctly.
For the newly released
Kinect version you are actually projected onscreen and into the game itself through Ubisoft’s proprietary Player Projection Technology. The use of full body tracking allows you to see your true movements as you play (for better or worse...), so you'll know if you're accurately matching the King of Pop’s moves. Or looking more like his pet chimp, Bubbles. (Yes, I know the name of his pet chimp.)
For the 360 and PS3 version you'll be able to belt out the lyrics as well. I'm pretty sure you'll be hooked with the first dance you perform. Or at least be able to take her "dancing", without having to inflict your moves on the public.
