Add Some Fire to Your Fourth
06/29/2007

Nothing's hotter than a girl who likes spice, so for your Fourth of July celebration make sure there's a couple of dishes that'll add some fuel to her fire.

And I don't mean just add some hot sauce to the onion dip. I'm talking recipes with the heat cooked in. For that, you need to bring in the big guns.

Arizona Gunslinger not only makes some seriously bold, all-natural hot sauces - their jalapeno pepper and much, much hotter habanero pepper sauces pack a serious punch - but they also offer a selection of kicked-up foods you can serve as-is, or add to a recipe to turn the volume up a notch or five.

Like their Smokin' Hot Microwave Popcorn, or Smokin' Hot Pistachios - coated with a generous helping of their jalapeno pepper sauce. Or, if you're looking to add some heat to your next martini, drop in one of their olives stuffed with jalapenos, chipotle, garlic or habaneros. They even have blue cheese stuffed olives soaked in habanero brine. Which is just insane.

If you want to add some fireworks to your Fourth this year, here are some easy recipes from the Gunslingers themselves. (For more, and to buy some of the products here, head to www.azgunslinger.com)
