Defend Against Winter Colds with These Healthy Vitamin C "Cocktails"
01/26/2011

The first time I tried Emergen-C was at the Natural Products Expo a couple of years ago. I was walking the show and right by one of the entrances was the Emergen-C booth, mixing up drinks for a crowd of eager attendees. I got some, and I was hooked. Been drinking it regularly ever since.

If you're not familiar with it, it's a flavored powder that you mix with water to deliver a bunch of vitamins, including a 1,000 mg shot of Vitamin C. And while you usually just select your flavor of choice and stir it in some water, the folks over at Emergen-C have come up with a bunch of much more interesting "cocktails" you can whip up to deliver that much needed C, and get you through the cold and flu season. With 1,000 mg of Vitamin C coursing through your system every day, let that chucklehead in the next cubicle sneeze away. You'll be covered.
