For holiday parties, having the right mixers on hand is just as important as having the right spirits. One you may not have used yet (or even heard of), is Pomegranate 7UP.

Adding the wildly popular pomegranate flavor to the familiar lemon-lime, this version of the Uncola is a limited edition, made just for the holidays. And it works for drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Here are recipes for one of each. The Mistletoe Mojito adds a holiday twist to the tropical favorite. MISTLETOE MOJITO
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon superfine sugar
8 fresh mint leaves
2 ounces white rum
2 teaspoons pomegranate seeds
4 ounces Pomegranate 7UP
1 mint sprig
1 lime wedge

In a highball glass, muddle lime juice, sugar and mint leaves until sugar is dissolved. Add rum and pomegranate seeds. Fill glass with ice and top with Pomegranate 7UP. Garnish with mint sprig and lime wedge.


MERRY BERRY FLOAT
1/4-cup scoop raspberry sorbet
1/4-cup scoop tropical fruit sorbet
1/4-cup scoop vanilla ice cream
6 to 8 fresh raspberries
6 ounces Pomegranate 7UP

Layer ice cream scoops in a tall soda glass and top with raspberries. Slowly pour in Pomegranate 7UP. Serve with soda straws and a long spoon.
