Our New Handicappers, Sid Rosenberg and Chris Genske, Give You the Pick for USC vs OSU
09/11/2009

Attention degenerate gamblers: Get help.

But until you do, let me introduce you to two guys who are going to help you win.

Sid Rosenberg (pictured with model and sports writer Jenny Woo), is a nationally known sports radio personality with a career working in both New York and Miami for the past 10 years, hosting The Sports Guys Morning Show on WNEW-FM in New York City, on WFAN-AM with the Don Imus Show and now on WQAM 560AM in Miami. He also contributes to the Howard Stern Show on various projects both on radio and TV.

Chris Genske, AKA "The Great Genske," took a passion for people and stats, combined it with sports handicapping, and created a private service for an exclusive professional network giving expert sports "advice." (If you know what I mean...) He's recently partnered with some of the best handicappers in the business to deliver his secrets and exclusive knowledge publicly.

And these guys will be doing just that, here on BG, regularly: giving you advice on who to pick, and why. (Purely for entertainment purposes...)

Had I not completely flaked yesterday, I would have posted their pick for last night's Steelers/Titans matchup which went like this:

"On the surface this looks like one hell of a match-up to kick off the new season and it should be, but expect to see a strong defensive stance with two "run-first" offenses facing each other. The line originally opened with The Steelers favored by 5, but with what should be an emotional night for the champions the line has jumped to -7.That being said Tennessee is 12-4-1 ATS (against the spread) in its last 17 games, and 4-2 SU (straight up) in its last 6 games when playing on the road against Pittsburgh. We see it as a close one, and were taking the points and PLAYING ON TN!"

Sorry... You'd have scored big on that one. So, this time I'm making sure their pick gets posted on time. Here's their prediction for tomorrow's big USC/Ohio State matchup:

"Week 2 of the young NCAA College football season and were already living in prime time with an amazing game featuring USC playing in the Horseshoe of "The" Ohio State University. USC is currently favored by 7 points on the road, but here's the catch: while most saw OSU almost get beat by Navy last week, don't fall into the trap... Southern Cal is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games on the road, and this will be the 1st true challenge for Matt Barkley who just turned 19. Playing in front of 105,000 fans on the road is never an easy task; and OSU has been preparing for this match-up during the off season and over-looked Navy. It might not be pretty, but this isn't San Jose State - Take the homedog and PLAY ON THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES!"

You can bet on it.
