Pizza Cutters For Outlaw Bikers
08/31/2009

Frankie Flood is a guy who takes design seriously. And to him, an everyday object should be object of art.

So when he decided to create a line of one-of-a-kind pizza cutters, he didn't turn to other kitchen gadgets for inspiration. He turned to custom choppers, machines and apparently weapons. (See the pic above of "Gold Knuckles")

Forget blow-molded plastic and stainless steel, Flood uses machining, stamping, anodizing, and powder coating to create these bad boys of pizza slicing that "seek to demolish the sterile conformity of mass produced objects and represent the stylistic and flamboyant embellishment of groups who live on the fringe of popular culture."

After seeing the kind of stuff he builds, I'm not going to disagree. (Or even ask what he was thinking when he designed the "High Boy" four pics down...)
