Share Tunes and More Between iPods
10/08/2008

You know the deal, your buddy's got a great new song, video or embarrassing photo of his ex on his iPod that you want to grab. But transferring files from iPod to iPod is a pain in the ass. And requires a computer. Which may not be handy when you're in a bar or at a party.

MiShare takes all the hassle and need for a computer out of the equation. It's a pocket-sized, single button device that does one thing: allow you to connect two iPods and share files back and forth.

Just dock each iPod onto the sides of the miShare (the arrows tell you where to dock the source and where to dock the destination), slide the switch to Music, Video or Photo, and push the button. The last song or video played will transfer, or the photo folder you defined. You can also have it transfer an entire playlist. Easy enough that I'm pretty sure my dad could do it.

Works with any iPod that has the 30-pin dock connector (which means you're out of luck Shuffle owners), formatted for either Mac or Windows, and can even transfer between mixed formats.

You are giving Dad too much credit. I don't think he could do it.
He still listens to 8-tracks!
