I can remember rocking my white K-Swiss shoes back in the day along with my Members Only jacket, pegged jeans and Swatch watch - make that two swatch watches. I was way too cool for my junior high class. So when I heard that K-Swiss was launching a line of classic kicks this summer I just had to share.
Ready in plenty of time for the summer, the Vintage CA line by K-Swiss has a trio of looks all inspired by the original K-Swiss Classic but updated to mesh with today's fashion. First in line is the Vintage CA II, a modern take on the original in worn leather. Next up is the Vintage CA Limited, a high-top all-gray version of the CA II in all leather. The Vintage CA collection is rounded out by the Vintage CA T, the canvas edition of the Vintage CA, perfect for lounging or hitting the streets.
The K-Swiss Vintage CA II ($70) and Vantage CA Limited ($75) shoes are available at
K-Swiss online and the canvas Vantage CA T's ($50) can be found at

This Father’s Day take the time to upgrade dad’s wardrobe with these awesome style gifts. Not only is it nice to see the old man looking sharp, but it gives you hope that you’ll look as dapper when you get older.
Stauer Midnight Flyboy 1916 Watch

Toss out dad’s old Mickey Mouse watch (which takes on a sinister vibe past the age of 10), and get him a timepiece that’s earned its wings. The Stauer Midnight Flyboy 1916 is a loving recreation of classic aviation timepieces of the World War I era. Flanked by a crocodile-embossed black leather band, peppered with accurate tachometers, and a Rose Gold fused case, this watch strikes a stunning balance between casual hardiness and formalwear style.

Mizuno Warmalite 1/4 Zip

Wanna get your dad a sporty light jacket that won’t have him looking like a member of Tony Soprano’s crew? Then maybe you should pick up the Mizuno Warmalite 1/4 Zip for him. The jacket possess a

I think it's an unwritten Law of the Universe, that dads must complain daily about how bad their feet hurt. Not sure if the weight of being you dad is what does it, or if he's hinting for a foot massage from mom, but there is a solution.
For this Father's Day, think about hitting dear old Dad with a pair of
Dearfoams slippers. A legendary maximum comfort favorite of athletes and celebs like Vince Young and Ray Romano, they are also the Official Footwear Sponsor of the World Series of Poker, keeping the players, dealers and even the ESPN camera crew feeling more relaxed. (And if you want to win Dad a $10,000 seat to the WSOP,
go here for details.)
The original foam-cushioned slipper created in 1947, Dearfoams feature a multi-density cushioning system to keep Dad's dogs comfortable, and higher grade fabrics (in the classic plaid all dads love), that can stand up to his constant late night shuffling to the kitchen for midnight snacks.

You can never have too many Father’s Day gift ideas, especially if your dad’s as picky as mine. And if you’ve got a fashion-forward dad, don’t even think about trying to score him a tie. You’re better off getting him a "World’s Greatest Dad" mug and backing out of the room slowly. You need a game-winning gift that’ll stack the odds in your favor. How about going south of the knees this year with some great retro-looking footwear from an American icon,
PRO-Keds
PRO-Keds has been crafting killer kicks since 1949, and this summer they’ve got a series of classically-inspired sneakers that your dad is sure to love. With styles like the
Royal CVO Canvas - the original NBA shoe, the
69er Lo Perf Leather - vintage hip-hop style from the Bronx, and the
Royal Lo Canvas - one of the original Keds styles dating back to 1926, there’s a shoe for every look. Oh yeah, and they’re affordable, too. So affordable, in fact, that you just might think about picking up a pair or two for yourself while you’re out shopping for dad.

Maybe dad always wanted to be a fireman. Or maybe dad is a fireman. Either way, he'll feel like a hero every time he shows off this belt made from an actual decommissioned fire hose. Or pulls out his fire hose wallet to buy you dinner.
Created by Gallo En Fuego, each hand-made wallet or belt is crafted from an actual hose that's been pulled out of duty after seeing its share of action, still bearing the distress marks, burns or damage like a badge of honor. Plus, a portion of each sale benefits Fired Up Kids, a program that raises funds for the burn unit at The Children's Hospital of Denver.
All you need now is to install a fire pole in dad's house.

Coyuchi.com, a small company on the California coast founded on a design philosophy called "aesthetic ecosystem," has a great gift idea for the dad whose mind is on the environment just as much as his own comfort.
Their Seersucker Robe is made from 100% organically grown cotton, with additional fabrics that use only natural fibers produced in non-toxic production processes certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard
(GOTS). Yeah, that was a mouthful.
The important thing to know is that GOTS is the toughest organic textile standard in the world and getting one of these for your dad will definitely garner you green points with Mother Nature.
And because it's made of cotton the Coyuchi robe only gets better with each wash. Coyuchi also marries form and function by building into the robe their signature seersucker-like, puckered stripes that allow for maximum airflow between the fabric and your skin. Environmentally friendly design standards, sustainable materials and an eye for design. Dad may never take it off.
