You Know You’re a Vegas High Roller When...
06/11/2007

Just in case Google wins the bidding war to buy your social networking startup, I asked Steve Striker, "The Ultimate Las Vegas Insider" and CEO of Striker VIP, a five-star concierge service for those seeking access into Las Vegas' notorious inner circle, for a few examples of what those with bankroll to spare spend it on when they hit Sin City.

According to Striker, you'll know you’re a real Vegas high roller when...

...you charter a private Lear jet or Citation stocked with fresh sushi and champagne for you and your group, landing in style at McCarran Airport’s private air terminal where you're greeted on the tarmac by your personal chauffer and private Bentley. Striker says true high rollers head to their luxury accommodations while they and their guests snack on imported caviar and smoke fine hand-rolled cigars. (Naturally you keep the chauffer and Bentley at your beck and call 24/7. Taxis are for shoemakers.)
Costs: Jets start at $8,000 per person, depending on pick up point. The chauffer and Bentley will be available 24/7 at $3,000 per day.

...you are treated like royalty in the 2,500 square foot exclusive Fairway Villa Suite at The Wynn Las Vegas, overlooking the incredible private Wynn golf course, where you dine like a king in sumptuous style with your own private dinner prepared specially for you and your guest by Chef Alex Stratta of Alex restaurant, also at the Wynn.
Starts at $6,000.

...you cruise the Strip exotic car-style after picking up your new ride at the local Lamborghini dealership - choosing between a 500-horsepower V10 Gallardo coupe or the V12 Murcielago roadster. According to Striker, real high rollers will tip the valet a C-note to take special care of their new baby, and to keep it parked right up front for all the ladies to admire.
Starts at $200,000 (purchase), $1,000 per day, per car (lease).

... you get ready to hit the casinos and clubs in the latest fashions by going on a shopping spree at the Ted Baker clothing store with the assistance of Striker VIP’s personal image consultant Dion Julian of Hollywood. Since high rollers don't wear anything right off the rack, you'll sip a martini or glass of champagne while your selections are custom tailored.
Starts at $10,000. (Includes image consultation and $5,000 in clothing and accessories.)

...you book a private black jack table for the evening at The Playboy Club atop the Palms Resort and Casino - along with a litter of “bunnies” to keep you and your guests entertained.
Starts at $10,000.

...you enjoy champagne brunch as your private helicopter takes you and three buddies to play 18 holes at the ultra exclusive Cascata Golf Course located in Boulder City, Nevada - one of the Top Ten Golf Courses in the United States. Smoke Davidoff cigars as you play the scenic and lush Rees Jones designed course.
Starts at $10,000 per foursome.

...you get your adrenaline fix by flying a L39 fighter jet as you battle other high rollers in a dog fight high above the Las Vegas desert.
Starts at $3,000 per guest.

... you sit ringside at a heavyweight boxing or UFC championship, rubbing elbows with Hollywood A-listers. Then are ushered directly to the exclusive after-fight party where you have your own private table with bottle service.
Starts at $12,000.

...you book one of the town’s hottest nightclubs like TAO, TRYST, or PURE, so you can host your own private party for 200 of your closest friends, complete with privately catered gourmet fare, intricate ice carvings, and open top-shelf liquor and cigar bars. Mid-evening, your guests are treated to a private performance by Cirque du Soleil.
Starts at $50,000.

...you want to avoid all the attention and crowds at the clubs so you hire Las Vegas legend Wayne Newton to come to your luxury hotel suite and entertain you and your guests in private.
Starts at $100,000 per hour. (Repeated encores of "Danke Schein" are probably extra.)
