The extra-curricular activities of a teacher moonlighting as a porn star has cost her her job, while simultaneously confirming the fantasies of men worldwide.

Members of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia education authority in Italy felt the after-hours vocation of Anna Ciriani - who calls herself "Madameweb" in hard-core videos, and who has been dubbed the "porno-prof" by Italian newspapers - was "not compatible with educational activity." (They don't have Sex Ed in Italy?)

These activities had been going on for a while. Five years ago Ciriani was transferred from her post as teacher of Italian literature in a secondary school in the north-eastern town of Pordenone after students covered the toilets with nude photos of her they downloaded from the Internet.

In her defense, Ciriani said, ""My behavior at school has always been professional and irreproachable. I am a normal woman, with my family and my work as a teacher. I am (also) looking for transgression and sex." (Yes, and so are the jacked-up 13 year-old boys in your class. That's the point.)

Madameweb's popularity surged after a video of her shot at the Venus erotica festival in Berlin last month attracted a wide Internet following, prompting the authorities to suspend her from teaching altogether.
