Laptops beat big, bulky home desktop computers in just about every category. Which is why most of us have opted for slim, tiny notebooks, freeing ourselves from being locked to our towers. But sometimes, when you need to do some actual work for an extended period of time, it makes life easier to have a screen you don’t need to squint at and a full size keyboard.
Hopefully, you haven’t chucked your old desktop peripherals because the Warpia Easy Dock has made it ridiculously easy to wirelessly hook up to it all. The wireless docking station will “dock” your laptop (PC or Mac) to your LCD monitor or old CRT (if you seriously still have one of these, you have bigger issues than docking) — along with your keyboard, mouse and speakers — all with the simple insertion of a USB adapter.
I had no problems setting it up with the included software CD, and was in full swing after matching screen resolutions in about 5 minutes. Now I can just pop in the adapter, and go wireless from across the room. No messing around hooking up cables. Because cables are so 2009.
