
In honor of spring finally springing I wanted to post a drink you could use to celebrate the warmer weather to come. It's called the Green Goddess and it was created by our friend, and star of the
Modern Mixology DVD, Tony Abu-Ganim. Mix up a couple of glasses and get your ass outside.
Green Goddess
• 1 1/2 oz Plymouth Gin
• 1/2 oz green Chartreuse
• 1 oz fresh Green Kiwifruit puree (recipe below)
• 2 oz fresh, filtered lemon juice
• 1 oz simple syrup
In an ice-filled mixing glass add Plymouth Gin,
green Chartreuse, kiwifruit puree, lemon juice and simple syrup.
Shake until well blended.
Strain into an ice-filled Collins glass.
No garnish necessary. The seeds of the fresh kiwi do the trick.
Green Kiwifruit puree
Peel and slice six kiwi and puree in a food processor with an ounce of simple syrup or so, depending on your taste.
