I went to see Iron Man 2 this weekend (save your $10 bucks, if you saw the trailers, you saw the movie), and during the previews, this video pops up. Apparently it's one of a series where they fly this chick, Rosa, around the country to meet her online friends. (And obviously, promote the new Windows phone, KIN.)

This story is that she gets "poked" by Weird Top Hat Guy on Facebook, and tells him she is flying from NYC to poke him back. In person. And I'm watching this thinking WTF? Why this chucklehead? Has she seen the pics of this guy? Does he not scream Bodies Buried in the Basement? Would she be doing this if she wasn't rolling with an entire film crew? You can just tell the guy got that "I'm coming out to poke you" Facebook message and was packing wood all week. For the first time in probably a decade. I actually felt sorry for the poor bastard when he saw she showed up with cameras, not condoms.

Check out the video and tell me I'm wrong. That there aren't some virtual friends who need to stay virtual. And a quick note to Rose: Sweetheart, my friend request is on the way. And I'll expect a return poke shortly. Just leave the camera guy at home.
