It's October. Summer's gone, and the insane heat has given way to cooler weather... football is in full swing, and it's time for playoff baseball. And in a few weeks, chicks everywhere will be figuring out the sexiest costume to wear to their Halloween parties. Not a bad month.

On the 2nd, Zombieland hits the screen with Woody Harrelson in full-on, wise-ass, zombie-killer mode. That's followed by the launch of Oktoberfest on the 3rd, where you'll be drunk on German bier until the 31st...

Unless you've been in a coma for the last few months you may not have heard that on the 5th, Brett "The Decider" Favre goes against the Packers (the only NFL team he hasn't beaten), in a sure to be instant classic MNF matchup.

Two days later, on the 7th, the MLB post season gets rolling... with the World Series starting on the 28th.

And for you freakier types, there's the Exotic Erotic Ball taking place in, of course, San Francisco on the 24th. (Grab your leather chaps and a camera.)
